[EZWrite6] Release Notes for v1.7.4.0

Circle to Artify

Users can now use the new Circle to Artify feature to transform drawings, text, or a combination of the two to generate images in three distinctive styles: comic, 3D, and realistic. To use this feature, circle objects with the select tool, then tap   in the object menu.

AI button in Floating Tool

A new AI button has been added to the Floating Tool, providing quick access to the new Lasso search, Ask AI, and camera gesture features. The screen record button can now be found by tapping the camera icon in the Floating Tool.

[Enhancements]

  1. The Background Remover and Art Style Transfer features now leverage the NPU on RP05 and RM05 models for faster processing.
  2. The Background Remover and Style Transfer icons have swapped positions in the UI. Those features can now be accessed by tapping in the object menu.
  3. Added two new backgrounds: Isometric Grid and Logarithmic Graph.
  4. Users can now select multiple saved EZWrite sessions and export them simultaneously.
  5. Expanded the maximum zoom level in the navigation panel from 300% to 800%.
  6. Added two new export formats when saving a whiteboard as an image: JPG and BMP.
  7. Added support for importing three new image formats: AVIF, HEIC, and HEIF on the RP05 and RM05.

[Update Instructions]

This update requires manual installation through DMS or on the BenQ Board.

Updating EZWrite 6 from DMS

1.  Go to https://dms.benq.com.

2.  Log in with your admin credentials.

3.  From the main menu, click Apps → BenQ Apps. The list of available apps appears.

4.  Locate EZWrite 6, and then click Install.  The app installation menu appears.

5.  Select to install by devices, groups, or tags, and then click Next.

6.  Select the specific devices, groups, or tags, and then click Select. A confirmation message appears.

7.  Review the information, and then click Confirm.

Updating EZWrite 6 from the BenQ Board

For EDLA boards (04 series and later):

1.  On the home screen taskbar, tap  → BenQ App Store.

2.  Tap  → EZWrite 6. The app details window appears.

3.  Tap Update.

For non-EDLA boards:

1.  Open the EZWrite 6 app.

2.  Tap  .

3.  Tap→ Check for updates. The update details window appears.

4.  Tap Yes.

Tip: If there are other available app updates, you can install them simultaneously. Tap  then Update All.
