[New Features]
Disable input sources
Users can now disable specific input sources in Settings → Display → Custom source names.
Disable built-in camera (FVModels)Users can now disable the built-in camera in Admin menu → Android settings.
[Enhancements]
- Improved translations in the Settings menu.
- The QR code network sharing option in Android settings has been removed.
- InstaShare Button mode is now enabled by default.
- The InstaShare Button startup launch delay has been set to 30 seconds.
- The HDMI Out button is now always available for selection, allowing the function to be activated even when no HDMI cable is connected.
- Optimized storage usage by deleting previously exported logs.
- Adjusted the default display color temperature to be less skewed toward red.
- Upgraded touch firmware to support up to 50 touchpoints in Windows.
- Updated with the latest Google security patch from November 2025.
[Fixed Issues]
- Fixed an issue where the board would not wake up from sleep mode when using an HDMI input.
- Fixed an issue that prevented the board from waking up via the power button after being put into sleep mode through DMS.
- Fixed an issue where X-Sign Broadcast would still play sound when the board was in sleep mode.
- Fixed an issue with AirPlay where iPads and iPhones would not appear in the board’s device list when using the board’s Wi-Fi hotspot.
- Fixed an issue where the wallpaper would not change when logging in with an AMS account.
- Fixed an issue where microphone and webcam changes made in the Settings menu were not retained after a reboot.
- Fixed an issue where enabling the USB port lock setting through DMS was not successfully applied to the board.
- Fixed an issue where turning on USB port lock through DMS would turn off the board Wi-Fi.
- Fixed an issue where Power save mode would interrupt updates when the board was in Corp mode.
- Fixed an issue where EZWrite 6 would stop working when using split-screen.
- Fixed an issue during the Out-of-Box Experience (OOBE) where the settings menu could be opened with a dragging gesture.

[Update Instructions]
This update requires manual installation through DMS or on the BenQ Board.
Updating the firmware from DMS
⚠️ Warning
The firmware update restarts the devices automatically. Make sure to update the firmware during off hours.
- Go to https://dms.benq.com.
- Log in with your admin credentials.
- From the main menu, click Firmware. The list of available device models appears.
- Locate your BenQ Board model, and then click Update. The update summary appears.
- Review the update details, and then click Update.
Tip: You can also click Schedule to schedule the update at a later time.
Updating the firmware from the BenQ Board
⚠️ Warning
- The firmware update requires a system restart. Make sure to save all important data before proceeding.
- The update process may take a few minutes to complete. Ensure that there are no interruptions. Do not power off the device or disconnect from the internet to prevent permanent damage to the display.
- Open the Settings menu.
- Tap System → About → System update.
- Tap Update. The system downloads and updates the firmware and then restarts automatically.
