[New Features]

MAC Address Setting

Improved the Wi-Fi connectivity settings by implementing a UI toggle within Google Settings that allows users to configure the Wi-Fi MAC address usage mode. 

Lock/Unlock with BenQ Remote

Introduced a one-touch enable/disable function for Touch and IR lock via the remote control; for TRY33, this feature is activated by performing a long press (5 seconds or more) on the [MENU] key.

  • Updated Google security patch to 8/1/2026. 


[Fixed Issues]

  • Fixed the intermittent upper-area drawing line issue with a touch frame firmware update.

  • Fixed an issue in EZWrite where the correct webcam could not be selected.

  • Fixed the mirrored (inverted) video output issue for UVC cameras during Zoom or Google Meet sessions.

  • Fixed the "System UI stopped" OSD error triggered when joining video conferences via Microsoft Teams.

  • Fixed an issue where the volume control bar was incorrectly triggered after exiting the Freeze function.

  • Fixed an issue where keypad volume up/down buttons became unresponsive when toggling the Freeze function via remote control.

  • Fixed an issue where a "Shutdown Warning" was incorrectly displayed immediately after HDMI signal loss.

  • Fixed an issue causing intermittent and automatic Wi-Fi disconnection.

  • Fixed an intermittent issue where the camera failed to initialize during Google Meet sessions when using the DVY31.

  • Fixed frequent Miracast connection failures when mirroring from Windows laptops on different subnets, which previously required multiple attempts to succeed.

  • Fixed an issue where the system would automatically restart after a shutdown command.

  • Fixed an issue preventing proper video output from Chromebooks via Type-C connection.

  • Fixed an issue where Wi-Fi was automatically disabled when switching the source from "InstaShare button" to Android.

 

[Update Instructions]

This update requires manual installation through DMS or on the BenQ Board.

Updating the firmware from DMS

⚠️ Warning

The firmware update restarts the devices automatically. Make sure to update the firmware during off hours.

  1. Go to https://dms.benq.com.
  2. Log in with your admin credentials.
  3. From the main menu, click Firmware. The list of available device models appears.
  4. Locate your BenQ Board model, and then click Update. The update summary appears.
  5. Review the update details, and then click Update.

    Tip: You can also click Schedule to schedule the update at a later time.

    Updating the firmware from the BenQ Board

    ⚠️ Warning

      • The firmware update requires a system restart. Make sure to save all important data before proceeding.
      • The update process may take a few minutes to complete. Ensure that there are no interruptions. Do not power off the device or disconnect from the internet to prevent permanent damage to the display.
    1. Open the Settings menu.
    2. Tap Advanced → System update.
    3. Tap Update system.

    The system downloads and updates the firmware and then restarts automatically.
