[New Features]

Lasso Search

Added “Lasso Search” function under Customize button, Advanced, OSD Setting.

[Fixed Issues]

• Fixed the HDMI out display issue on the 2nd screen (when you have HDMI out to the 2nd screen with Advanced Settings => Output port selection set to “off”, the 2nd screen will not show any display, but when you turn off and reboot the 1st screen, the 2nd screen will start to show display).

• Fixed an issue where system audio could not be recorded during the first boot screen recording.

• Fixed multi-language issues (same as RE05A/RE05AC).

•  Fixed a potential crash when opening Chrome on the first boot of the system without an internet connection.

• Fixed the potential Gboard display size issue on the first boot of the system (should be in smaller floating mode instead of extended full mode).

• Fixed the issue when first booting into OOBE set up screen and the language is switched, the input method will automatically switch to BenQ Keyboard.

• Fixed the system auto-reboot issue when the user sets up the screen lock PIN code and switches between AMS user & local admin.

• Fixed an issue where the Ethernet sharing switch (under System Settings, Admin Menu) is not working.

• Fixed an issue where pressing the sidebar home key would not switch YouTube to PIP mode when playing YouTube in full-screen mode.

• Fixed an abnormal recorded video issue when the it is saved under floating tool after switching sources.

• Fixed a potential no touch issue when switching to OPS.

• Improved TF (MicroSD) card compatibility issue (system may fail to recognize it occasionally).

• Improved system lag issue when booting from HDMI OUT.

[Update Instructions]

This update requires manual installation through DMS or on the BenQ Board.

Updating the firmware from DMS

⚠️ Warning

The firmware update restarts the devices automatically. Make sure to update the firmware during off hours.

1. Go to https://dms.benq.com.
2. Log in with your admin credentials.
3. From the main menu, click Firmware. The list of available device models appears.
4. Locate your BenQ Board model, and then click Update. The update summary appears.
5. Review the update details, and then click Update.

Tip: You can also click Schedule to schedule the update at a later time.

Updating the firmware from the BenQ Board

⚠️ Warning

• • The firmware update requires a system restart. Make sure to save all important data before proceeding.
  • The update process may take a few minutes to complete. Ensure that there are no interruptions. Do not power off the device or disconnect from the internet to prevent permanent damage to the display.

1. Open the Settings menu.
2. Tap Advanced → System update.
3. Tap Update system.

The system downloads and updates the firmware and then restarts automatically.
