Landscape/Portrait button
Switch between portrait and landscape by pressing the green button on the remote.
TRY01 support
The SL04 and SH04 now support the TRY01 remote control.

[Fixed Issues]
- Fixed an issue where enabling Source wake up did not wake the display from sleep or power off.
- Fixed an issue where an X-Sign Broadcast schedule would display the message “Close this broadcast?” while the display was set to an HDMI source.
- Fixed an issue with the Android settings search bar that prevented the keyboard from reappearing after being closed.
- Fixed an issue where the display Picture Mode was reset to default after a firmware update.
- Fixed an issue where the InstaShare 2 Button (TWY31) would occasionally disconnect from the display.
- Fixed an issue where rebooting the display with Hotspot enabled disabled Wi-Fi.
- Fixed an issue where the display would not reconnect to a hidden SSID using a static IP after a reboot.

[Update Instructions]
This update requires manual installation through DMS or on the SL04 display.
Updating the firmware from DMS
⚠️ Warning
The firmware update restarts the device automatically. Make sure to update the firmware during off hours.
- Go to https://dms.benq.com.
- Log in with your admin credentials.
- From the main menu, click Firmware. The list of available devices appears.
- Locate your BenQ signage display, and then click Update. The update summary appears.
- Review the update details, and then click Update.
Tip: You can also click Schedule to schedule the update for a later time.
Updating the firmware from the SL04/SH04 display
⚠️ Warning
- The firmware update requires a system restart. Make sure to save all important data before proceeding.
- The update process may take a few minutes to complete. Ensure that there are no interruptions. Do not power off the device or disconnect from the internet to prevent permanent damage to the display.
- Open the Signage Settings menu.
- Select Advanced → System update.
- Select Update system. The system downloads and updates the firmware and then restarts automatically.
