[DMS] BenQ DMS Client 3.3.8.9 Release Notes

Released 7/19/25 - Updated 6/9/25

[New Features]

Remotely Control BenQ Notifications

BenQ Notifications can now be toggled through DMS, either through a Policy or through individual device settings.

  1. Policies → [Policy] → Launcher settings

  2. Devices → [Device] → Apps → Launcher settings

Remotely control Instashare 2 Webcasting

Webcasting via Instashare 2 can now be toggled on through DMS Policy under Apps => [InstaShare 2 or InstaShare 2 EDLA] => Advanced.

Added Device Setting: Set Timezone Automatically

Under Device Settings, you can toggle on Set timezone Automatically.
[Select device] => Device Info => Display and system → System.

Remotely set Corp Mode through Device Setting

[Select device] => Device Info => Display and volume => Display. NOTE: If enabled, disabling Corp Mode MUST be done at the board since the Android side is disabled and DMS will no longer be able to detect the device.

Max AMS Accounts Setting

The Max number of user profiles on a board can be changed remotely through DMS. Note: If you're having storage issues with your boards/users are utilizing a lot of space, we recommend keeping it at the default 10.

  1. Through DMS Policy
[Policy] => Launcher settings => Remotely control BenQ AMS settings => Access security

  2. Through Device Setting
[Device] => Apps => Launcher settings => Remotely control BenQ AMS settings => Access security

Added Google Play app filter setting in Devices

Google Play App Filter is used to filter out applications that are not compatible with your device. Toggling this off will show more applications (note that these may have compatibility issues).
[Select device] => Device Info => Policy and security
