Presenting a step by step guide to enabling two factor authentication on BenQ boards (NOT for SSO accounts as that is through your Cloud Service Provider)
To enable two factor authentication through Google or Microsoft authenticators Apps you need to do the following:
- Download the authenticator application of your choice to your mobile device.
- iphone (iOS)
- Android devices
- Now that you have the application installed on your mobile device > click the link to sign into your BenQ account

Click on the avatar with your username in the top right hand corner > Select Account.

Select Two-factor authetnication > Turn on
- Enter your password > Next
- Open the authenticator application that you downloaded in the previous steps > press the add button > select school or work account > scan the QR code > click Submit.
Enter the authentication code into the Authentication Code field in Step 3 and click Set up - Two factor is now enabled on your account and will be required when signing into any BenQ Service and Board.
- Every time you sign into the BenQ Board you will be asked to enter the authentication code generated by your application to complete the sign in process.
- You can always add another device for 2FA by click Set up again under Set up for another device.
- To turn off Two-factor, navigate to ams.benq.com > Login > Profile Icon > Account > Two-factor authentication > Turn Off
