      [New Features]

      Floating Tool Customization Settings

      Tapping the Selection tool while it is already active now opens a settings window. Options include Always-on, Auto-minimize, and Color and Transparency controls.

      Google Slides import (EDLA ONLY [04 Series & Up])

      Google Slides can be imported as either images or editable objects (Beta). They're converted to EZwrite items, and are saved as a new file (doesn't affect the original file).

      - Image will convert each slide to a full screen image, giving you the ability markup your slides.

      - Object(Beta) will give you the ability to edit/manipulate your slide. Not all objects are translatable yet. If just using for markup, you can use the Image option.


      Scrolling Mode export

      Scrolling Mode sessions can now be exported with the following methods:

      • Share by QR code

      • Share by e-mail

      • Save as image

      • Save as PDF

       

      [Enhancements]

      • Microsoft Math Solver has been removed (Microsoft has EOL'd Math Solver in 07/2025). Users can now use EZMath to write complex mathematical formulas.

      • The following fonts were added: Noto Serif TC, Edu NSW ACT Foundation, Playwrite NZ, and Playwrite AU TAS.
      • Added three new backgrounds.




      • When updating EZWrite 6, users will now be taken directly to the download window in the BenQ App Store.
      • Added Māori support for handwriting recognition.
      • Translation languages are now listed alphabetically.

      [Fixed Issues]

      • Fixed an issue that prevented text boxes from displaying properly on the RM03.

      [Update Instructions]

      This update requires manual installation through DMS or on the BenQ Board.

      Updating EZWrite 6 from DMS

      1.  Go to https://dms.benq.com.

      2.  Log in with your admin credentials.

      3.  From the main menu, click Apps → BenQ Apps. The list of available apps appears.

      4.  Locate EZWrite 6, and then click Install.  The app installation menu appears.

      5.  Select to install by devices, groups, or tags, and then click Next.

      6.  Select the specific devices, groups, or tags, and then click Select. A confirmation message appears.

      7.  Review the information, and then click Confirm.

      Updating EZWrite 6 from the BenQ Board

      For EDLA boards (04 series and later):

      1.  On the home screen taskbar, tap  → BenQ App Store.

      2.  Tap  → EZWrite 6. The app details window appears.

      3.  Tap Update.

      For non-EDLA boards:

      1.  Open the EZWrite 6 app.

      2.  Tap  .

      3.  Tap→ Check for updates. The update details window appears.

      4.  Tap Yes.

      Tip: If there are other available app updates, you can install them simultaneously. Tap  then Update All.
