How do I disable Randomized MAC Address on my BenQ Boards

This can done either through a DMS policy or through the network settings of your BenQ Board.

Jump to:

- Through DMS Policy
- Through Network Settings on your BenQ Board

Through DMS Policy

  1. Browse and login to DMS.
  2. Navigate to the Policies section.

  3. Create a new Policy, or modify an existing Policy. (Note: If you already have a policy on your board, pushing another policy will overwrite that policy. Modify your existing policy to ensure the one on your board won't be overwritten.)
  4. Within the policy, navigate to Advanced > Network > Add Wi-Fi.

  5. Fill out your Network information, toggle Mac address random off, and click Save

  6. Click Deploy or Update to push this policy out to your boards.

Through the Board

  1. Log in with the Local Admin (admin) account on your BenQ Board. If you don't know it, please reach out to your IT team.
  2. Open up the Android Settings on your board by going to the Apps > Settings

  3. Navigate to Network & Internet Your SSID Privacy. Toggle this to off if you want to disable Randomized MAC (enabled by default).
