Available for RP04 FW20240927 and up / RM04 FW1.0.2.75 and up.
For districts that have a password requirement set for mobile management, users will need to set a Screen Lock to allow Google Sync to work on your BenQ Board.
NOTE: This is device specific, so if you need to sync your Google account on another device, you'll have to set a screen lock on each additional device.
If you don't see the Screen lock Setting option at your BenQ board, you'll need to check with your administrator that the policy the board is running Allows for screen lock.
Adding Screen Lock to your DMS Policy

Browse to DMS and login with an Admin account, or an account with DMS pemissions.

Navigate to the Policies section.

If you haven't already created a Policy you want to use, then click
to Add a policy.

If you want to add to an existing Policy, click Edit on the existing policy.

Under Launcher settings, Enable Remotely control BenQ AMS settings. If you haven't enabled this before, you'll need to set/reset your local Admin password for your boards.

Enable Activate AMS Service. It'll prompt you to change to local admin password (or enter your current one to keep it the same) and click Confirm.

Click into Access Security.

Toggle on User defined Screen lock Setting.
At your BenQ Board
- Login to your BenQ Board.
- Tap your Profile Picture or Name (see red below) > Personal Settings > Screen lock Setting (see blue below).
- Choose what type of Screen lock you want to set (Swipe will NOT satisfy Google Sync password requirements) and make sure you save this somewhere. Note: Pattern at the moment is the only one where you can
- Now every time you login/wake up the board, similar to your mobile phone, you'll need to unlock your device.
