Removing Guest mode on Multiple Boards
Enabling Guest mode on a Single Board
Remove Guest Mode on Multiple boards via DMS Policy
- Login to dms.benq.com with an Admin level account.
- Navigate to the Policies section.
- If you haven't already created a Policy you want to use, then click
to Add a policy.
- If you want to add to an existing Policy, click Edit on the existing policy.
- If you haven't already created a Policy you want to use, then click
- Go to Launcher Settings and toggle on Remotely Control AMS Settings.
- Enable Activate AMS Service. It'll prompt you to change to local admin password (or enter your current one to keep it the same).
- Click into Access Security.
- Toggle off Guest login and click Apply. Then click Apply again to confirm your changes. Guest login will now be removed on BenQ Boards with this policy.
- Deploy the policy (or Update if modifying existing policy) and confirm the policy is on the board(s) via the Device tab of the policy.
You can also browse to the Event log section and confirm that your deployment was successful.
Enabling Authentication Mode on a Single Board
- Login to dms.benq.com with an Admin level account
- Navigate to the Devices tab from the DMS Navigation Panel and Select your board.
- Click the
to go into Detailed Information.
- Under Apps > Toggle on Remotely Control AMS Settings.
- Enable Activate AMS Service. It'll prompt you to change to local admin password. Click Confirm if you don't want to change it.
- Click into Access Security.
- Toggle off Guest login and click Apply. Then click Apply again to confirm your changes. Guest login will now be removed on BenQ Boards with this policy.
