Connecting a computer to your BenQ Board with an HDMI cable in 2 steps
Step-by-step
Before turning on your BenQ board, make sure the Power switch is set to ON.
- Waking up the screen
- Option 1: tap the screen to wake up the board
- Option 2: press the power button on the remote control
- Option 3: wake up the screen with the power button found at the lower right of the control panel
- Connect the computer to your BenQ board with an HDMI cable:
- Plug the supplied HDMI cable into your computer's HDMI port
- Plug the other side of the HDMI cable into your BenQ board
- For touch capabilities, connect your computer and the BenQ board with the TOUCH-USB cable provided in the box
Tip: once HDMI cable is connected, the BenQ board automatically switches to HDMI input when a computer is plugged in. If this doesn’t happen automatically, manually:
- select HDMI input in the settings menu
(brought up by taping the
icon)
- or set your computer's screen mirroring to Duplicate or Extend
