[ITS] How to create user accounts in BenQ IAM?

Create user accounts manually or by syncrhronizing with an Active Directory server

To enable users to enjoy BenQ services such as AMS, DMS, and X-Sign, administrators need to create user accounts in IAM

Step-by-step

Go to iam.benq.com, and log in with your BenQ Admin account.IAM icon

Option 1: Manually create a BenQ user account

  1. Go to the Account Management page
  2. Click on Create New Account
  3. Fill in the fields and assign permissions
  4. Click Submit
    You can assign up to two accounts to have admin permissions by checking the substitute admin box

Option 2: Create multiple accounts at the same time

  1. Go to the Account Management page
  2. Click Import, then Download template
  3. Open the importSample.xlsx file
  4. Fill in details for the accounts you want to create and save the file
  5. Upload the file by clicking Import in the Import accounts window
  6. Select your file to successfully create the accounts

Option 3: Synchronize accounts with your Active Directory server

  1. Go to the Account Management page
  2. Click on AD server authentication
  3. Check Enable AD server authentication in the AD server settings window
  4. Fill in the server information
  5. Click Submit 

Note: using Active Directory to synchronize accounts won't delete existing accounts.
