How to set your default keyboard to GBoard (Google Keyboard) on your BenQ Board

For use with EDLA Certified BenQ Boards RM/RP04 and up.

If your keyboard looks like this, then you're using the default BenQ Board keyboard.

Follow the instructions below to change your default keyboard to the Google keyboard (G-board).

[Changing your BenQ Board default keyboard]

1. Login with an administrator level user onto your BenQ Board.
2. Access the Android settings by
   1. Hitting the physical Settings Button on the bottom right-hand side of your board. Once the OSD menu below pops up. Tap the Settings icon shown.
      
      
   2. Tap the Apps waffle (1) and look for Settings (2) within the Apps tab.
      
      
      
3. Scroll down and select System (Languages, gestures, time, backup). Then select Languages & input.
   
4. Select On-screen keyboard.
   
5. Toggle off the Android Keyboard (AOSP) and confirm that the Gboard is toggled on.
   
   
   

That's it! Your default On-screen keyboard should now be a Gboard.
