Webcasting
Users can now easily share their screen’s content to InstaShare 2 without being on the same Wi-Fi network (can cast remotely) as the display or requiring InstaShare 2 to be installed on their device. They can now browse to a URL, enter the pairing code under Webcasting (shown from the board), and cast.

Note: Webcasting is disabled by default; to use webcasting, enable it in the InstaShare 2 settings on the display under Settings > Advanced > Native casting.
Remote Keyboard
Users can now type with a keyboard plugged into the display to edit content on their device when using device-to-board mode (Casting). When using board-to-device (Mirroring), if the host allows touchback permission, users can use their device’s keyboard to edit content on the display.
Multi-miracast P2P
Users can now display up to 4 Miracast screens simultaneously on the BenQ Board RP04, RM04, RE04, and Pantone® Validated Signage SL04 and SH04.
Portrait Mode
Supports signage mode in portrait orientation with a maximum of 2 split screens, along with a remote controller.

Updating Windows Instashare 2 Client application.
- Download from InstaShare 2 website HERE.
Updating InstaShare 2 Host from DMS
- Go to https://dms.benq.com.
- Log in with your admin credentials.
- From the main menu, click Apps → BenQ Apps. The list of available apps appears.
- Locate InstaShare 2 (or Instashare 2 EDLA for 04 Series and up), and then click Install. The app installation menu appears.
- Select to install by devices, groups, or tags, and then click Next.
- Select the specific devices, groups, or tags, and then click Select. A confirmation message appears.
- Review the information, and then click Confirm.
Updating InstaShare 2 from the BenQ Board
- On the home screen taskbar, tap
→ BenQ App Store.
- Tap
→ InstaShare 2. The app details window appears.
- Tap Update.
Tip: If there are other available app updates, you can install them simultaneously. - Tap
then Update All.
