For RP6504/RP7504/RP8604 - To be released 5/15/2024

Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Classroom are now preloaded.

The board switches to InstaShare Button mode three (3) minutes after startup.
This setting is only available if InstaShare Button mode is enabled.
Internet connectivity is disabled in InstaShare Button mode. The board will appear offline in DMS after this setting is enabled and the board is restarted.
This setting can be found in Settings 🡪 Advanced.

Enabling this feature allows users to simultaneously use Ethernet and Wi-Fi (default is ON).

Note: Ensure that microphone sharing is disabled to use this feature.

Users can now use the remote control as a mouse for the board.

Improved QOTA mechanism to avoid copying certain files.
Modified “GMS core updating” toast wording to "Google updates are running in the background. This may take a few minutes. Please wait."

Windows Ink is now enabled by default.
- Users connected to a board using a Windows laptop can use the pen to directly write or draw on Microsoft Office files displayed on screen.
Increased the number of touch points up to 50.

Fixed an issue that affected the touch response when users tried to use unsupported non-Android apps (including input sources) in split-screen mode. The use of input sources in split-screen mode is now disabled.
Fixed an issue that decreased the volume of the recorded audio when using the microphone array.
Fixed an issue that prevented users from recording system audio when an input source is connected to the board.

Fixed a USB cloning issue that prevented the system from cloning the Wi-Fi SSID and password.
Fixed an issue that caused the ENERGY STAR^® logo to disappear when the auto backlight setting is enabled.
Fixed an issue that affected the touch interaction for the Merge HoloGlobe and Merge Object Viewer apps.
Corrected the Google Captive Portal connection URL.

Applied the 2024-03-05 Android security patch.
