Camera Gestures
Control the BenQ Board with hand gestures from anywhere in the classroom.

Note Browser
A new browser with built-in annotation features that keep notes anchored to the locations they were made on the webpage, even while scrolling. (NOTE: this is a separate browser and doesn't support Google Sync).
Access via:
Apps menu → Note Browser.
Multi-window update
Users can now split the screen into one-third and two-thirds sections, in addition to the existing half-screen split option.
USB cloning encryption
USB cloning is now encrypted. Unencrypted USB drives can still be used to clone RP04 models running this firmware version or later.
[Enhancements]
- S/PDIF has been added as an audio output option.
- Updated BenQ Board settings labels:
- Power Save Mode changed to No Input Signal
- Power Save Mode Timer changed to Timer
- EDID 2.0 / EDID 2.0 YUV420 / EDID 1.4 changed to 4K @ 60Hz / 4K @ 60Hz (YUV420) / 4K @ 30Hz
- InstaShare Button Mode is now enabled by default.
- Enforced use of the BenQ Keyboard before login to prevent unintended browser access through the Google Keyboard.
[Fixed Issues]
- Fixed an issue where Wi-Fi did not automatically reconnect after switching from InstaShare Button Mode to the BenQ Board Home screen while logged in as a Guest.
- Fixed an issue that prevented EZWrite 6 from opening YouTube in split-screen mode.
- Fixed an issue where switching a physical keyboard layout to AZERTY caused the Android settings menu to crash and prevented the new layout from being applied.
- Fixed an issue where audio from an input source opened in Multi-window continued playing after exiting Multi-window mode using the Home button.
- Fixed an issue where the split-to-left or split-to-right shortcut buttons in Multi-window did not function after enabling AMS and logging in.
- Fixed an issue that prevented the VooV Meeting app from being installed.
- Fixed an issue that caused firmware update failures when upgrading from version 20250312 to 20250924.

[Update Instructions]
This update requires manual installation through DMS or on the BenQ Board.
Updating the firmware from DMS
⚠️ Warning
The firmware update restarts the devices automatically. Make sure to update the firmware during off hours.
- Go to https://dms.benq.com.
- Log in with your admin credentials.
- From the main menu, click Firmware. The list of available device models appears.
- Locate your BenQ Board model, and then click Update. The update summary appears.
- Review the update details, and then click Update.
Tip: You can also click Schedule to schedule the update at a later time.
Updating the firmware from the BenQ Board
⚠️ Warning

- The firmware update requires a system restart. Make sure to save all important data before proceeding.
- The update process may take a few minutes to complete. Ensure that there are no interruptions. Do not power off the device or disconnect from the internet to prevent permanent damage to the display.
- Open the Settings menu.
- Tap Advanced → System update.
- Tap Update system.
The system downloads and updates the firmware and then restarts automatically.
