Eye-care
Users can now enable Eye-care in Settings → Display → Eye-care. This feature reduces blue light emissions to protect the user’s eyes.

[Fixed Issues]
- Fixed an issue where the volume bar showed an incorrect value when sound was set to 100.
- Fixed an issue where a lock icon was incorrectly displayed in the top-left corner when restarting with IR or Keypad Lock enabled.
- Fixed an issue that prevented power scheduling from working correctly with DMS Local.
- Fixed an issue that prevented MKV and M4V 4K videos from displaying in full screen in AM Player when the display was in portrait mode.

[Update Instructions]
This update requires manual installation through DMS or on the SL04 display.
Updating the firmware from DMS
⚠️ Warning
The firmware update restarts the device automatically. Make sure to update the firmware during off hours.
- Go to https://dms.benq.com.
- Log in with your admin credentials.
- From the main menu, click Firmware. The list of available devices appears.
- Locate your BenQ signage display, and then click Update. The update summary appears.
- Review the update details, and then click Update.
Tip: You can also click Schedule to schedule the update for a later time.
Updating the firmware from the SL04/SH04 display
⚠️ Warning
- The firmware update requires a system restart. Make sure to save all important data before proceeding.
- The update process may take a few minutes to complete. Ensure that there are no interruptions. Do not power off the device or disconnect from the internet to prevent permanent damage to the display.
- Open the Signage Settings menu.
- Select Advanced → System update.
- Select Update system. The system downloads and updates the firmware and then restarts automatically.
