      Smart Port Functions on BenQ Boards

      What is Smart Port?

      Smart port allows you to share touch/array mics/ external USB peripherals for OPS and other devices (external input source).

      Purpose and Use Cases

      • Completes BYOD (Bring your own device) and BYOM (Bring your own meeting) scenarios via cable connection.
      • Allows users to control an IFP’s array mic & external USB camera.
      • User can read/write USB storage
      • Allows the front smart ports to be easily accessed because most IFPs in the classroom are mounted on the wall.

      Smart Port Compatibility

      Smart port on RP02 only functions on OPS input source, it is not functional when using other input sources. For other 03 models, all external input sources support smart port features
