Google Apps and Chrome aren't working/syncing on my BenQ Board

For EDLA certified BenQ Boards (RM04/RP04 & up).

Supported Google workspace editions for this feature: Frontline Starter and Frontline Standard; Business Starter, Business Standard, and Business Plus; Enterprise Standard and Enterprise Plus; Education Fundamentals, Education Standard, Teaching and Learning Upgrade, Education Plus, and Endpoint Education Upgrade; Essentials, Enterprise Essentials, and Enterprise Essentials Plus; G Suite Basic and G Suite Business; Cloud Identity Free and Cloud Identity Premium.

[Enabling Mobile Management for Android Devices]

1. Navigate to the Universal tab for your devices

2. Expand the General tab to modify the mobile management settings. Note that these settings don't have to be applied globally, but can be set to specific OUs.

3. Under Mobile Management, if you don't want to apply this policy to all devices, we can choose Custom and just select Android devices (BenQ Boards are running Android OS) and click Save. If you're using a nested OU, click Override, otherwise you will inherit the parent settings. Set Android Management to Basic.

4. Disable Password requirements by setting Password requirement to OFF. If you require Password Requirements and have it set to BASIC, you can instruct your users to set Screen Locks on their board (this will just be for their profile on that board). The instructions to do that are HERE.


5. Now to check your Google account on your BenQ Board. Open up Chrome and login. You'll get a prompt to turn on Sync, select Yes I'm In. 

6. To check that your account is syncing, open up a New tab and click on your Profile Picture. Sync should be GREEN and show ON.


You're Google workspace users should now be able to sync their Google accounts with their BenQ Boards. If you're still having issues, please contact BenQ Support at tse.bqa@benq.com.
